Zunaira Khalid, a 35-year old aspiring doctor and a cancer survivor, talks about her long journey after she was diagnosed with sarcoma last year. Zunaira just recently had her leg amputated; fortunately, with the help of her family and friends, Zunaira was able to fundraise $37,000 in four months and purchase her new prosthetic leg. Zunaira did not give up for a second while fighting the deadly disease, instead, her journey made her stronger and happier. Her plans for the future are big. Zunaira is planning on helping other folks without a leg find the means to get one, through fundraising and website development.
